In this new video from brothers in Granite we invite you to join Daniel, one of our owners, as he explains the operations of the Perla Santana quartzite quarry in Brazil. This quarry is a new partner quarry for Brothers in Granite and we’re very excited about bringing the stone produced here to you and your customers around the world!
The Perla Santana quarry shares a location in close proximity to many more famous types of Brazilian quartzites. From the top of the quarry you can see neighboring mountains that are home to the quarries for Taj Mahal and Naica, among others. In fact, these other quarries are the reason for the Perla Santana quarry being where it is! As demand for these quartzites begins to outstretch supply, alternate sources need to be found and that’s what we’ve found in Perla Santana!
