Materials Dolomite Ice Crystal

Another popular type of stone at Brothers in Granite are dolomites with inclusions of the mineral calcite. These slabs are very distinctive for their large clear or brightly-colored crystals. The crystals (and sometimes the whole slab) are translucent and can be backlit to show the internal structure of the stone and can make for some striking design uses.
